Venue
Saint Ignatius' College, Adelaide
Saint Ignatius' College is an extraordinary school, made so by a tradition of educational excellence established by the Jesuit Fathers in 1951.
Girls were first admitted in 1971, and in 1996 the College became completely co-educational from Reception through to the completion of secondary schooling. Ignatius Early Years and the Junior School (Reception to Year 6) are situated on the Norwood Campus. The Senior School is located at Athelstone and caters for the Middle Years (Years 7 to 9) and Senior Years (Years 10 to 12).
As a Jesuit school, we provide students with meticulous care in the development of their imaginative, affective and creative dimensions and assist each child to mature gradually in all these areas. This enriches their learning and prevents it from being a solely intellectual pursuit.
All aspects of a Saint Ignatius' College education have one common purpose: the formation of the balanced person with a personally developed philosophy of life. Since education is a life-long process, it is our aim to instill a joy in learning and a desire to learn that will remain with each student well beyond their days at Saint Ignatius’ College.
